About programs
The Projects administrative division manages and controls these European Union funded support measures in accordance with European Union and Lithuanian legislation:
- Common programs for the provision of information on agricultural products and their promotion in the internal market and in third countries, aimed at increasing the competitiveness of the European Union agricultural sector, thereby ensuring greater competition in the internal market and in third countries. These programs aim to raise consumer awareness of the benefits of the European Union's agricultural products and production methods and raise awareness of the quality systems of the European Union and their recognition;
- Support program for Lithuania's wine sector, which is intended to support sparkling wine produced in Lithuania with an indication of the wine grape variety. Support measures may be implemented in third countries to increase the export of sparkling wine produced in Lithuania and to provide consumers with more information on wine grape varieties grown in the European Union.
